┃・We're a mental health server! ~ Don't target people for their conditions or struggles.
┃・Must be 16-18+. (As in about to turn 17 or about to turn 18!) Do not lie about your age ~ If you need help to verify/4 questions ~ ASK!

┃・Real life always comes first.
┃・NO SNOWFLAKES / Pick me's etc!~ Don’t know what it means, look it up.
┃・Don’t be a negative Nancy. Be part of the group. OR GET OUT!
┃・Do not lie about a Mental Illness / Issue with ur health / hospital visits or claim suicide attempts. These are SERIOUS and will be taken seriously. Any lies will be banned.
┃・Your Discord profile must NOT have overly sexual / explicit content. You will be asked to change if so. (Discord offers profiles per server)
┃・DO NOT have any promos on your discord (No promoing Discords / No promo for groups / Money etc etc) NO EXCEPTIONS. We will ask you to remove it. Failure to do so will result in a ban.
┃・EVERYONE is equal. This is an inclusive environment.
┃・Any Appeal applications will take 1-4 weeks for review, given this you may have a PRE-TRIAL of 30-60 days before your main trial within the Group Discord.
┃・No harassment, including sexual, racial, or cyberbullying. No sexism, racism, homophobia, bigotry, or any form of hate in general.
┃・No personal drama / other server drama / drama in general.
┃・Existing relationships are fine, but this is not a dating platform. Handle breakups privately, and if needed, one party should leave to prevent more issues. (the one who joined more recently)
┃・Be respectful and don't expect others to bend to your schedule.
┃・Keep discussions appropriate, avoid politics or topics that may be deemed controversial, and respect boundaries.
┃・Keep all channels SFW ~ Keep NSFW in NSFW. You have been warned.
┃・Don't fight—take issues to DMs. ~ Failure will result in a kick of both parties. No favoritism.
┃・We're here for support, WE WILL NOT MICROMANAGE YOU. We will not bend to your every need. NOT to replace mommy & daddy issues.
┃・No sharing private info without consent!
┃・No spamming or excessive pinging.
┃・Follow channel titles and descriptions; get permission before using pings.
┃・Suspected spammers / Suspected Spam Activity / ALT Accounts will be banned/kicked.
┃・Instant joining/leaving may raise suspicions—spammers will be banned.
┃・If you don't verify age & accept the rules within a week, you'll be kicked.
┃・Staff can ban or kick as needed but appeals are possible to the owners or staff.
┃・Obtain permission before using pings.
┃・A kick/ban will occur for the following offenses:
- Lying about your age.
- Promoting Hate / Harassment etc.
- Promoting violence, hate, or inappropriate content.
- Unauthorized sharing of personal lives / reproduction of content from creators etc.
- Breaking #market rules / TOS of partners or general server rules.
- Being an overall prick, too full of yourself etc. It isn't a hard task to be a decent person.
- Involving drama in the group, causing fights, bringing drama in will be cause for kick/ban.
- For not removing Promos / Sexual content or Suggestive content from Discord profile. = Ban / Kick

⸺ Punishment System ⸺

┃・Do not disrespect ANY staff. Final choices lie with the staff, for any ticket/ban/kick etc. If it is deemed unfair, there will be a meeting to discuss. (This includes the 3 chance system with The Undercroft. It repeats as follows ~)
┃・Warning ~ You will be asked not to continue the behavior
┃・Second Chance ~ One of the two punishment roles will be in play (Mori / Drowned)
┃・Third Chance ~ Ban / Removal / Blacklisting
┃・Minors (17 and under) and adults face different consequences due to our 16-18+ policy. Minors will be removed immediately for any rule violations to protect The Undercroft’s reputation. Minors are held more responsible due to liabilities, with actions addressed accordingly. (Please note adults can still face a single strike and can be removed due to ANY actions taken.)
┃・The Undercroft RESERVES the right to see fit when these roles will be in play from the Staff team (by vote). You are FREE to appeal using the #┃⤷-・tickets . If your actions are deemed too severe, an AUTO BAN or KICK may come into play.
┃・ Staff have an overruling from Owners. If majority vote by staff, staff can rule in any instance for the sake of the group away from owners absence.
┃・ Failure to accept the #┃⤷-・rules will result in immediate removal from the server.

┃・Foster active engagement; don't complain if people aren't online or unavailable.
┃・Staff will support members having a rough day; use Discord to avoid overcrowding in the server.
┃・In talking games like Cards Against Humanity, Audience Anarchy, or Hot Seat, loud music is prohibited unless permitted; others will be warned about volume.
┃・No harassment, hate speech, or hate-based discussions. Avoid discussing politics and religion unless permitted.
┃・Appropriate behavior is expected from both adults and children. Misbehavior might result in removal for individuals or the entire group.
┃・Encourage inclusivity by avoiding cliques and promoting participation from everyone.
┃・Stay active and engaged when joining a VRC Undercroft instance; avoid leaving shortly after.
┃・Ensure group photos and videos are inclusive, using small groups or multiple people in selfies.
┃・When only five members are present, spend the day independently to maintain personal time and reduce routines.
┃・Avoid bringing outside drama into the group; staff will address any issues if necessary.
┃・Rules may be added over time to address new issues.
┃・Always adhere to VRC Terms of Service and rules.

The Origins of The Undercroft
In its earliest days, the group thrived across platforms such as IMVU, Second Life, GTA, and Warframe. In these early days, they were wanderers and creators, banding together as outcasts, rebels, and dreamers. Despite the changing landscapes, a constant core emerged—a close-knit group bound by a shared sense of belonging amidst chaos.The Shift to VRChat and Evolution of IdentityIn 2021, the group sought new horizons and transitioned to VRChat, a platform where creativity and community collide. Adopting the name "Pandemonium", they embraced the unpredictable energy of their new environment. Yet, as they grew, the name felt mismatched with the spirit they were cultivating—a community not of random chaos but of purposeful connection and shared struggles.Renaming themselves "Descenium", they explored the darker, introspective layers of their identity. But it wasn’t until six months later that the name The Undercroft was chosen, a reflection of the hidden refuge they provided for one another—a sanctuary beneath the surface where authenticity and acceptance thrived.The Undercroft TodayAs The Undercroft flourished, the group realized the importance of adapting their rules and values to reflect the needs of their growing family. While this was the main focus all along, something clicked as grew more and more. Mental health advocacy became a cornerstone of their community, ensuring every member felt safe to share their struggles. They opened their arms to LGBTQIA+ individuals and other "misfits" who found themselves overlooked or outcast elsewhere. In their haven, chaos and care coexist—a testament to their shared belief in acceptance and belonging.While their collective energy is undeniably chaotic, it is balanced by a sense of loyalty and camaraderie that binds them. Members of The Undercroft do not merely coexist; they celebrate one another's individuality, forming bonds that transcend virtual boundaries.A Family of the ForgottenThe Undercroft is more than a group; it is a family forged in the crucible of shared experiences and understanding.
